Day 1

Our adventure begins at the Maturango Museum in Ridgecrest (3.5 hours from Santa Barbara) mid-afternoon for an orientation. We continue on (hunting for wildflowers enroute) to a primitive camp (no water or tables) at the weird, wild and wonderful Trona Pinnacles.

Day 2

Enroute

  • Panamint Valley
  • Darwin Falls hike
  • Aguereberry viewpoint
  • Stovepipe Wells
  • Our camp for 3 nights - Furnace Creek, in the heart of Death Valley National Park.

Central Death Valley

  • Mosaic and Titus Slot Canyon Hikes,
  • Wildflowers
  • Rhyolite Ghostown
  • Dante’s View
  • Zabriskie Point and badlands walk
  • Salt Creek pupfish ponds
  • Sand dunes and Devil’s Cornfield.

Day 5

Southern Death Valley

  • Devil’s Golf Course
  • Badwater Salt Flats
  • Shoreline Butte
  • Jubilee Pass Wildflowers
