Arlington Peak

Arlington Peak is located in the Santa Ynez Mountains of Los Padres National Forest, California. Climbing Arlington Peak is not easy but the views from the top are something to behold. The mountain sits at the forefront of the Santa Ynez ridgeline, and isn’t the highest point in the Santa Ynez Mountains but it’s visibility makes up for its lack of height. It has a triangular structure with a rocky south side.

To get up Arlington Peak, you’ll have to traverse over rocks and boulders. At the top, you’re able to see the majestic Channel Islands and panoramic views of Santa Barbara near the Pacific Ocean. Although Arlington Peak is well-known to locals it didn’t appear on any maps until recently and didn’t have an actual name for many years. Only recently has it been given a proper testament to it’s majesty.
